Duties

Manage District natural resources management and environmental programs and policies governing the use of land, water and related resources.

Implement policies and procedures for effective management and execution of the Natural Resources Management Program.

Provide expert advice on the execution of the Natural Resources Management Program, to include all aspects of natural resources conservation, preservation, restoration use, recreation opportunities, and visitor assistance.

Render expert technical advice and guidance on unusual, controversial or complex natural resource management and environmental compliance problems.

Serve as liaison with other organizational elements; Federal, State and local governmental agencies; private interest groups and the general public in support of program section activities and responsibilities.
