Summary About the Position: As the Joint Logistics Operations Center (JLOC) Chief within the USSOUTHCOM J4 Logistics Operations Division, the incumbent provides authoritative advice on planning and executing comprehensive logistics programs-including equipment, supplies, medical, engineering, contracting, and personnel support-across the 31 nations and 16 territories of the Latin America and Caribbean Area of Responsibility (AOR). Responsibilities Serves as the Joint Logistics Operations Center (JLOC) Chief, providing authoritative advice for the planning, development, and execution of logistics programs involving equipment, supplies, medical, engineering, and contracting support. Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics support during contingency operations and exercises, resolving specific problems as required.
