Supervisory Loan Specialist (Agricultural)

Summary This position is located in the Farm Service Agency, Salem, Washington County, Indiana. This position manages and directs the Farm Loan Programs administered in one or more USDA Service Centers providing services to one or more counties in the State. Responsibilities Works with committees, other agencies and commercial lenders to determine the eligibility and the feasibility of loan proposals. Reviews and processes sensitive loan cases which involve liquidation, fore closure and or bankruptcy. Approves or disapproves loans or servicing requests. Performs a variety of program management and administrative functions required to assure the technical soundness of decisions made. Conformance with relevant provisions of laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Maintains communication and cooperative relationships with producers, lenders, commercial and educational institution, rural community groups, and other Federal State and local agencies.
