Summary The incumbent serves as a Front Line Manager for a team of Legal Instrument Examiners. Responsibilities Manages and directs the functions of the Aircraft Registration Branch, AFB-710, in the accomplishment of its assigned responsibilities in support of the mission of the Civil Aviation Registry. Plans, establishes priorities, manages resources, assigns tasks and responsibilities; coaches and develops employee capabilities, approves leave; and takes corrective/disciplinary action, as appropriate. Interviews candidates, makes selections, and monitors/evaluates performance of section employees. The incumbent will have contact with Congressional staff officials, various government agencies, FAA Security, the general public, attorneys, Federal offenders, and former offenders.
