SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the MARINE CORPS FIRE AND EMERGENC SERVICES of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR. Responsibilities You will serve as a lead or senior firefighter in a supervisory capacity, ensuring the safety of personnel and successful completion of critical fireground operations. You will manage shift schedules, provide performance evaluations, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations. You will handle personnel issues in accordance with fire department policies and procedures. You will perform a variety of fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical, and hazardous response duties. You will interpret the types of hazards and response information available from hazardous material databases, monitoring equipment, computer-based software, MSDS and reference manuals.
