SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Engineering Technician in the Project Plan and Test Management Branch (291) of the Combat Systems Engineering and Planning Division (290) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will serve as the Chief Test Engineer Weapons (CTEW) with complete project responsibility for Combat Systems testing for the largest and most complex ships. You will conduct advance technical planning, preparation, coordination and execution, through in-dept knowledge of testing and evaluation in engineering. You will review Available Work Package (AWP) and recommend additions or deletions to the Combat Systems Pre-availability Test (PAT) package. You will provide technical guidance and recommendations related to Combat Systems work and testing at Planning, Work Definition and Arrival Conference meeting.
