Summary Procurement Division The selectee of this position serves as a Supervisory Contract Specialist. You will be responsible for serving as a representative of management, an Assistant Chief serves in a leadership role as the first line supervisor over Contract Specialists, Contracting Officers, and staff that support the Procurement Division. Responsibilities As a Supervisory Contract Specialist at the GS-1102-14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Planning, developing, and establishing the best contractual strategy for an acquisition, soliciting responses from contractors, performing detailed analysis, negotiating, and awarding different types of contracts. Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
