Supervisory Budget Analyst

Summary This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Under Secretary for Management (USM). The primary purpose of this position is to formulate, advise on, coordinate, and carry out policies and procedures to assure the financial soundness of the Department's programs and to support staff functions in terms of planning for future program budgets and general operating expenses. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position. Responsibilities As a Supervisory Budget Analyst, GS-0560-15, your typical work assignments may include: Reviews and analyzes the external budget requests and enacted appropriations legislation to ascertain impacts on resource allocation planning.
