Supervisory Aviation Safety Inspector

Summary This position serves as a Supervisory Aviation Safety Inspector who will assist the Manager in a Flight Standards organization. The position reports to the applicable Manager of the assigned organization and will execute the Agency's aviation safety mission, communicate and build change coalitions, seek out opportunities to support change across the organization, and employ best practices for sponsoring change and manage resistance. Responsibilities The Assistant Manager is responsible for aviation safety activities in a complex and dynamic environment that includes experience in one or more of the following specialties: Operations, Avionics, Maintenance, Dispatch, Rotorcraft and Cabin Safety.
