Supervisory Accountant

Summary Incumbent serves as Supervisory Operating Accountant (SOA) and assistant to the Accounting Officer in Fiscal Service at this Medical Center, The Medical Center is comprised of General Medicine, Intermediate, Neurology, General Surgery, Operating Room, Intensive Care-Medical, Surgical and Cardiac, Psychiatric, and Substance Abuse Treatment. The SOA ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team. Responsibilities Duties Include but not limited to: Maintain and adjust the double entry commercial type accounting system. Conduct the eight phases of an integrated accounting system required as follows: general ledger accounting, capital asset accounting, inter-office accounting, revolving fund accounting, budgetary accounting, cost accounting, deposit fund accounting and trust fund accounting.
