Responsibilities Coordinates, and implements policy and procedural improvements, as warranted, to correct identified operational deficiencies. Coordinates the timely preparation, reconciliation, and distribution of accounting reports. Provides professional direction to subordinates within the organizational unit. Responsible for implementing procedures and for providing guidance and technical accounting assistance to subordinates. Reviews and analyzes new or revised accounting policies and procedures which affect program operations ensuring that sound accounting principles are applied and that regulatory and customer issues are properly addressed. Hears and resolves employee complaints and takes required minor disciplinary actions, referring more serious complaints to a higher level manager.
