Responsibilities
- Lead a team dedicated to promoting student success by reducing chronic absenteeism and strengthening family-school partnerships.
- Guide and oversee the Family Engagement and Attendance Specialists in providing intensive, individual support to children and youth who face attendance barriers, fostering culturally respectful and empowering relationships with families.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, caregivers, and school staff to identify attendance challenges, develop tailored intervention plans, and monitor progress toward improved attendance and academic achievement.
- Build trusting relationships within the community and nurture a supportive environment alongside the team.
