JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: Plans, directs, and supervises all aspects of the Blue Springs Carson Ross Community Recreation Center Fieldhouse and Blue Surf Bay Aquatics Center including recreation programs, front desk operations, special events, aquatics programming and services, sports leagues, instructional programs and cultural activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plans, directs, and coordinates Blue Springs Fieldhouse and Blue Surf Bay Aquatics Center operations, the City's recreation programs, aquatics programs, and special events.

2. Assists in the development of department policies and procedures, including program goals and fees.

3. Interprets and explains programs and activities to the public in consultation with the City's Communication Manager; and develops and maintains public records and reports relating to division activities.
