Job Brief
The first cook position at Sunwapta serves as the night line chef and often acts as a sous-chef for the season. Under the supervision of the Sous Chef/Executive Chef, the role is responsible for dinner line set-up, mis-en-place, preparation, and service of the evening dinner menu and daily specials.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and cook the evening dinner menu.
- Ensure line set-up is complete before dinner service begins.
- Serve all dinner menu items, following recipe standards, portion control, and food safety guidelines.
- Maintain a positive attitude and lead the kitchen by example.
- Assist with banquets or set menus as needed.
