Sun West School Division - 1.0 F.T.E. Learning Consultant - Indigenous Perspectives

Sun West School Division invites applications for a 1.0 F.T.E. Learning Consultant for the 2026/27 school year. The office base will be determined in consultation with the Superintendent of Learning. The Successful Applicant will work under the direction of the Superintendent of Learning and will work with school-based Administrators and Teachers to provide support and leadership in the area of student engagement and infusion of Indigenous Perspectives.

Preference for Candidates

• Member of Indigenous communities (First Nations, Métis or Inuit).
• Ability to speak an Indigenous language is considered an asset.
• Experience in guiding and supporting administrators, teachers and staff in the infusing of Indigenous perspectives into curriculum, lesson plans, and classroom activities.
• Experience in the area of Treaty Education.
