Student Support Officer (Temporary 11-month contract)

This is a temporary role on 11-month contract.

• Provide individualised support to students in managing challenging behaviours in school, including support management for meltdowns.
• Support the Special Educational Needs (SEN) team to implement behaviour interventions and learning support plans for students with SEN in collaboration with the academic team and other stakeholders.
• Maintain records of student progress and interventions implemented.
• Assist with organising, implementing, and facilitating training and advocacy programmes for students with SEN.
• Partner with the SEN team, academic team and other stakeholders to create a supportive environment conducive to the success of students with SEN.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the student system's (STAR) Case Management module.
