Location: South Neighborhood (Case & Holden Halls). Starting pay: $15.73 per hour.

Job Description

As a Student Cook, you will assist full‑time kitchen staff with the preparation, cooking, and serving of food for all meal options at the venue. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and delivering outstanding customer service to guests of Culinary Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Cooking, preparing, and serving food in dining halls.
• Cleaning kitchen area after meals are served.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student at Michigan State University during the academic year.
• Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
