Student Assistant - UWMC-Montlake Transplant Services

**Job Description**

**UW Medical Center - Montlake** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Student Assistant to join our Transplant team** part-time - 10 to 19.5 hours per week during school year; up to full time during summer quarter). Individuals will perform general office functions; enter data into the records management software; update various logs, spreadsheets, and databases to track office activity/patient interactions; monitor and transcribe voicemails; assist with the creation and update of record series and the UW Medicine Records Retention Schedule; perform special projects and other tasks as assigned.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Data entry, primarily of outside lab values into patients’ Electronic Medical Records
+ Contacting outside facilities and providers’ offices for patient records and contacting patients to see where they completed labs or testing
+ Uploading outside documents into the EMR
