Structural Steel Fitter (1st Shift)

Structural Steel Fitter/Fabricator - 1st Shift Pay: $22-30/hr. (based off tack tests and experience) Shift: Monday – Friday 6a to 4:30pm; occasional OT on Saturday Description: We are seeking detail oriented and experienced Structural Steel Fitters/Fabricators for our growing Steel Fabrication team in Richmond, VA. The Structural Steel Fitters/Fabricators will fit and assemble structural framework, components, and materials such as angle iron, plates, WF sections, and other steel shapes and components.
Requirements: Must pass all tack test FCAW
Superior level layout and math skills
Complete understanding of pre-heat functions
Ability to set-up and use track torch is required
Works in compliance with safety policies and procedures
Must be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as needed
