Structural Designer (Tamaulipas IV)

Responsibilities

• Must be able to provide innovative packaging solutions in a timely manner.
• Lead efforts to ensure the production facility can efficiently produce new designs while acting as packaging subject matter expert for the team.
• Develop structural design solutions for paper-based packaging (folding carton, corrugated, rigid box). Experience with non-paper packaging materials a plus.
• Manage design projects and maintain effective communication with sales, customer service, and manufacturing.
• Occasionally (10%) engage directly with client, along with sales business development, as subject matter expert, to obtain project related information.
• Ensure new designs are created for optimum efficiency for production.
• Create high-end, flawless packaging prototypes for customer presentations.
• Create organized, clear, and consistent specifications, dielines, and BOMs.
