Vacancy Description
The Strategic Supports Coach: Specialized Programming is a division-based teacher leader who provides collaborative, job-embedded support to school teams in developing and implementing effective programming for students with complex learning needs. Working in partnership with administrators, teachers, educational assistants, and central office staff, the coach will build capacity to ensure students receive high-quality, inclusive, and responsive educational programming. The coach will provide leadership and support for classroom teachers and specialized programming, with a particular focus on learning support facilitators, LEAP classrooms, and the effective utilization of Educational Assistants. Through coaching, modelling, collaborative planning, and professional learning, the coach will support school teams in implementing evidence-informed instructional and behavioural practices that promote student success.
