Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia Beach, VA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current RN license


• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting


• Demonstrated proficiency with cardiac monitoring, titration of drips, and managing patients requiring closer observation than general med-surg


• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills


• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)


• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
