Staff Payroll Tax Processor

**Overview**

Come join Payroll Tax Operations (PTO) as a senior payroll tax expert and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a team responsible for the end-to-end resolution of payroll tax issues across Notices, Corrections, Amendments, and Pay & File. The TP3 is a technical lead and catalyst for the team spending significant time as a resource for less experienced staff while independently owning the most complex cases in the queue. We are looking for a driven, expert-level payroll tax professional with a passion for solving hard problems, building team capability, and continuously improving the processes that deliver for our customers.

This role is primarily about fixing payroll tax problems, not running payroll. The TP3 resolves complex State and Federal tax notices, prepares and files amended returns across multiple states, corrects multi-period payroll tax errors, and ensures that the knowledge to resolve those issues gets transferred to the team.
