Staff Nurse (PMC)

The Role

The incumbent will provide nursing care and patient education to patients at Ambulatory Care Centres (ACC) in accordance with the departmental SOP and standards of care. This involves coordinating with the other teams at ACC to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency.

Key accountabilities

. Practise within own level of competence to promote safety of self and patients in accordance with SNB code of practise and core competencies coded in SNB.
. Deliver quality and safe nursing care to patients.
. Perform triage and assist in emergencies.
. Assist doctors on clinical procedures and venepuncture.
. Perform treatments as prescribed by doctors.
. Perform clinical measurements including but not limited to nebuliser, ECG, stress ECG (treadmill).
. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation: Perform rescue ventilation with bag-valve-mask device and external cardiac massage.
. Ensure proper follow up on the treatment plans.
