Staff Nurse

Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on a 30 bedded Adult Surgical Ward that cares for four main specialties: Plastic Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Ear, Nose & Throat and Ophthalmology.

As a member of the nursing team, you will support the senior nurses to deliver a high standard of care to patients in a caring and safe environment.

Main Duties of the Job

• Demonstrate and promote a patient and family centred style of clinical practice.
• Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Accurately document and report to other members of the nursing team, multi-disciplinary team and family/carers regarding the care given to patients, and communicating changes as they occur.
