Job Summary
Bud Flanagan West is a haemato-oncology ward dealing with patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment and stem cell transplantation. The unit comprises of 16 inpatient beds with 4 isolation room and 5 bays. We are looking for a band 5 nurse to join our friendly and dedicated team. You will need to be proactive, have excellent communication skills, be able to provide the highest quality care and demonstrate a desire to learn and understand the complex pathways of patients undergoing treatment. The role will provide opportunity to be trained for chemotherapy administration and autologous stem cell transplant. Experience in a haematology environment would be useful. You will enjoy working as part of a highly skilled and motivated team including nurses, doctors, AHPs and education teams.
