Kingfisher ward is a 24 bedded elderly care rehabilitation ward based at Andover war memorial Hospital.
The role is a primary function supporting the team for the optimal care of our patients. The delivery of high quality, effective and compassionate health care to the patients of the Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust is the most important objective for the organisation.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of a band 5 nurse are:
Clinical nursing care
Medication management
Swallow management
Provision of IV fluids and medications
Active participation in rehabilitation
Discharge planning
wound care
nutritional management
