Staff Engineer Yield & Product Engineering

New Product Development

• Provides engineering expertise for assigned projects to meet requirements.
• Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work.
• Plan and execute the product qualification and electrical test failure analysis.
• Assignments involve complex yield problem-solving and DOE skills.
• It may require resolving conflicts between product performance objectives and low-yield problems.
• May lead the technical aspect of a project or sub-project under the direction of the project leader, as well as provide guidelines to the junior engineer.
• Serves as a highly accountable technical resource on a production process or problem area. An example of Root Cause Determination and Solution Implementation is required for promotion to this level.
