Staff Engineer (Sputter Process)

As a key technical contributor, you will lead material performance and process integration for sputtering targets in high-volume manufacturing.

• Serve as the technical lead for sputtering target materials, focusing on magnetic, mechanical, and microstructural properties.
• Define and optimize target material specifications to meet process stability, film performance, and reliability requirements.
• Drive supplier qualification and improvement, with strong understanding of target manufacturing processes (e.g., casting, HIP, bonding).
• Lead investigation of material-related excursions, establishing linkages between material properties and process performance.
• Integrate target behavior with sputter process conditions to improve yield, OEE, and process robustness.
• Apply material characterization and data analytics to correlate target attributes with film quality and product performance.
