What you'll do

The primary purpose of the CNA Instructor is to provide instruction for Nursing Assistant courses and maintain course documentation and related Nursing Assistant Program communication. The CNA instructor will follow New York State provided guidelines to prepare CNA students to learn to handle the demands of the job, understand their role, and scope of practice. The CNA Instructor prepares the students to pass an examination to become certified through clinical, classroom and hands-on training within the long-term facility setting.
