Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Wheat Ridge, Colorado on a Contract basis. This role supports core accounting operations across multiple entities, with a strong focus on reconciliations, journal entries, audit support, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in general ledger activity, tax-related support, and record maintenance while contributing to ongoing improvements within the accounting function.

Responsibilities:
• Reconcile monthly banking activity across 12 accounts, investigate variances, and ensure discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
• Prepare and enter journal entries for multiple entities, maintaining accurate financial records across different levels of transaction volume.
