Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Troy, Michigan in a Contract position. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career accounting candidate who enjoys working across core accounting activities such as reconciliations, journal entries, cash management, and compliance support. The role will contribute to accurate financial reporting, maintain organized records, and partner with internal stakeholders to keep daily and month-end accounting operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with billing support for physicians and providers, help reconcile receivable activity, and follow up on open balances in partnership with senior accounting staff.
• Prepare recurring and month-end journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expense amortization, and other adjustments needed for accurate financial reporting.
