SS&P - Cost Engineer Mechanics - Singapore

As a Cost Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing insight and driving down the costs of parts and complex modules by simulating production processes. You will also provide early definition of manufacturing process flows and product cost calculations during the design phase in collaboration with the development and sourcing competences.

• Master degree in a mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with advanced manufacturing processes like CNC Milling, CNC Turning, laser, E‑Beam welding, additive (3D printing) manufacturing, precision mechanics vacuum, manufacturing automation/robotization, industrial 4.0 operation data analyses.
• Knowledge of manufacturability of raw material manufacturing such as stainless steel, titanium, casting, extrusion, high‑end plastics, vendor components market pricing and availability.
• Experience in reporting cost driver views, opportunities and risks. ...
