Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) / Superintendent to support a Military Construction (MILCON) project at Fort Bliss then at Fort Polk. The SSHO will ensure full compliance with Federal, DoD, and USACE safety regulations while leading all jobsite safety initiatives. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel and subcontractors on site.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement, manage, and enforce the project’s Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
• Conduct daily site safety inspections in accordance with USACE EM 385 1 1 standards and maintain all required documentation.
• Lead daily Safety/Toolbox Talks and facilitate weekly safety meetings.
• Identify, document, and mitigate jobsite hazards; ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
