Job Description
The Upstream Processing Technician supports the manufacture of commercial and clinical biologics by performing upstream (cell culture) operations in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role focuses on mammalian cell culture, operation of large-scale production bioreactors, and execution of related filtration and centrifugation steps, while ensuring strict adherence to aseptic techniques and regulatory requirements. The position offers hands-on experience with large-scale biological and pharmaceutical operations that produce biologics such as antibodies used in therapies for complex diseases.
Responsibilities

+ Perform upstream processing activities, including propagation of mammalian cell cultures and aseptic cell culture operations in cleanroom environments.

+ Execute large-scale production bioreactors (approximately 50L to 2000L) according to established manufacturing procedures and cGMP guidelines.
