POSITION SUMMARY
The Thermal Engineer supports new product development. The Thermal Engineer acts as a technical resource between internal groups such as marketing, product management, application engineering, customer technical support, and manufacturing. She or he provides daily support to NPDI projects by coordinating engineering deliverables and creating detailed documentation to support part selection and design intent. Follow‑up, escalation, and problem resolution are part of daily activities, ensuring alignment with broader areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead technical development.
- Understands the products, suggesting ideas and improvements back to the group.
- Assists with creation, reviewing, and systems‑entry of new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings, and sales literature.
