**Description**
The Defense group at Leidos has a career opening for a System Administrator on a DISA contract. This role is primarily on the customer site at Ft Meade, MD. Administrator will provide support for assigned systems supporting Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS).
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Provide Senior level expertise for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment.
+ Lead as the Subject Matter Expert on all VDI related issues/needs.
+ Provide support for ticket escalation on major outages.
+ Be able to work in a rapid paced environment at times.
+ Provide strategic leadership and input with development partners to ensure customers understand emerging needs and technological advancements.
+ Lead the onboarding and standup of new enclaves and environments as needed.
+ Interacts with Tier III support and evaluates vendor products.
