Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of the annual operational plan, including performance indicators, targets, projects, and programs, as well as the determination of budget requirements.
• Develop policies, methodologies, and processes; propose relevant performance indicators; monitor their implementation; and submit related reports.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes for storage facilities; evaluate existing standards for the management and care of artifacts; establish new professional standards to meet the needs of various artifact categories, leverage technological advancements, address legal matters concerning archaeological collections, and oversee intellectual property issues.
• Draft the strategic plan for storage facilities and contribute to its development; prepare and monitor the implementation of operational plans to ensure alignment with the department's objectives.
