The role focuses on innovating, designing, and building services and client tools that support the best music experience for millions of customers worldwide, collaborating with Business Development and Solutions Architects to build a world‑class developer program.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable services and client applications.
• Lead system design and architectural decisions, applying design patterns and ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Manage projects with external developers, oversee the entire software development life cycle, and operate and monitor platforms and services.
• Analyze data, diagnose operational root causes, and implement improvements.
• Coach and mentor engineering teammates, develop engineering processes, and foster a culture of excellence.
