Main duties of the job
Participate in a recognised medicines management course (Certificate in Medicines Management (CMMPT) or Medicines Optimisation Programme ) to provide knowledge and understanding of clinical pharmacy. Provide high‑quality pharmaceutical service for inpatients and carry out ward‑based activities promptly, ensuring patients adhere to their treatment plans and hand over complex information clearly to appropriate staff using verbal or written skills. Lead and supervise staff as requested by the senior technician in patient services, including production of weekly rosters and workload organisation. Support the management of home‑care medicines management services for the home‑care specialist area.
