Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement: process inspection, first pass rate, start up, nonconformance material, scrap.
• Information acquirement.
• Data stratification (Pareto) and data trends.
• Replication of failure modes.
• Root cause definition.
• Implementation of problem containment countermeasures.
• Definition of action plan and permanent countermeasure implementation.
• Verification of problem solution effectiveness.
• Problem solving documentation.
• Define and document acceptance criteria for manufacturing operations in the transfer of new products.
• Obtain acceptance criteria from suppliers and customers for their parts, assemblies and/or product performance.
• Select and document applicable criteria for each operation, manufacturing or assembly processes.
• Train personnel on the documented criteria and monitor application and understanding of the criter...
