Sr Payments Engineer

**A Day in the Life:**
The Sr Payments Engineer is a hands-on engineer building and operating Hertz’s payment systems and integrations. This role designs, builds, tests, deploys, and maintains Cloud enabled payment engine and services across card-present, card-not-present, and alternative payment methods, including tokenization, fraud signals, settlement, and reconciliation flows.
The Sr. Payments Engineer reports to the Senior Manager, Payments Engineering, partners closely with the Solutions Architect on design and pattern adoption, participates in on-call rotation, and contributes to the engineering culture and standards of the team.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Design, build, test, and deploy scalable and secure cloud-native payment applications, services and integrations across card-present, card-not-present, and alternative payment methods.
