Job Overview
RQ11142 - Sr. Cloud Application Specialist (1‑year 11‑month contract with possible extension, 5 days onsite at Jarvis, Toronto; location: 49 Place d’Armes, Kingston). Security Level: CRJMC.
Rate: 30% of the lowest per diem proposed to RFS/Specific Vendor per diem, multiplied by maximum points in resume evaluation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 810+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud application development and engineering.
- Demonstrated recent expertise in Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, AKS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift), and DevOps/automation tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines).
- Experience in enterprise cloud architecture, security (IAM, encryption, compliance), data engineering (ETL/ELT, Azure data services), observability (monitoring/logging), and advanced DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
