Senior CAD Designer
Job Overview
The Senior CAD Designer is responsible for producing product designs, utilizing CAD tools. This role prepares detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from discussions and sketches, using software tools, and ensures that drawings incorporate all design features and maintain the product style. The Senior CAD Designer contributes design modifications to improve the quality and function of the product and may be responsible for the administrative coordination of work done within the CAD and PDM tools.
A Day In The Life
- Work with CAD files, sketches, marked up drawings, and other documented information furnished by Design Engineers or from suppliers.
- Creating drawings by planning arrangement of a product assembly, appropriate views, sections, and details as required to best describe the assembly or part geometry.
