We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Accountant to support key accounting operations for a contract position based in Texas. This role is ideal for someone who can manage core financial activities, maintain accurate records, and help keep reporting timelines on track. The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of month-end processes, reconciliations, and ledger management while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly close activities by preparing schedules, reviewing balances, and helping ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through regular analysis, correction of discrepancies, and proper account classification.

• Prepare and record journal entries with supporting documentation to reflect financial activity accurately.
