Overview: Metalis are working exclusively with a precision engineering company in Coventry (CV6), who are looking for a Spindle Fitter to join their team.

Job Duties

• Assemble precision spindles to high standards
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Tear down precision spindles for reconditioning
• Compile inspection reports and test run precision spindles
• Cleaning and preparation of parts for build
• Inspection of components prior to build
• Setting up test rigs, monitoring of spindles on run test and taking of vibration analysis tests
• Use of machine tools for the adjustment of components including surface grinding, ring grinding, turning, drilling, milling etc.
