Speech Therapist

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with speech language communication voice and swallowing difficulties
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment findings and clinical needs
• Provide speech and language therapy interventions for pediatric and adult patients
• Conduct swallowing assessments and provide appropriate therapeutic interventions as required
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to achieve desired outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation including assessment reports progress notes and discharge summaries
• Educate patients families and caregivers on therapy techniques and home-based exercises
• Collaborate with physicians nurses occupational therapists physiotherapists psychologists and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team
