Specialty doctor for Community Paediatrics (1 year FTC). Full time 10 PAs. The Community Paediatric Service aims:
- To provide a high-quality service for children with developmental needs, in collaboration with the child's family and primary carers working as part of the multi-agency team.
- To assess, diagnose and support children presenting with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- To effectively safeguard, protect and promote the welfare, health and wellbeing of looked after children and young people, as well as care leavers.
- To provide statutory services to care of Looked After Children and those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- To ensure staff access Continuing Professional Development opportunities to provide continuing high standards of evidence based clinical care in line with professional and Government legislation, e.g. children and Family Act 2014, Every Child Matters and the NSF for Children and Families.
