Job Description

The Specialist Technical Operations and Support reports to Campus Safety and Emergency Management Services (CSEMS) and supports the technical priorities of CSEMS. The position is responsible for the code-based maintenance of all software utilized by the Department, as well as integration between software. Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable education and work experience in information technology, computer science, or similar field(s) preferred.

  • 3+ years relevant experience in information technologies/computer science preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge
  • Basic understanding of networking, IT hardware, software and wireless technologies.

  • Basic understanding of web application design and development.


  • SQL, HTML, CSS, C#, JavaScript, and ColdFusion language experience preferred.

  • Well developed technical and written/oral communication skills.
