Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Specialist Palliative Care Team based at Sunderland Royal Hospital. You will be working alongside the specialist palliative care team in providing specialist input for patients with complex palliative and end of life care needs within Sunderland Royal Hospital.
This role is a developmental role to support a Band 6 nurse to develop into a Band 7 Specialist Palliative Care Nurse over a period of up to 2 years.
Training and Education opportunities will be provided to ensure the successful applicant will have the required skills to provide specialist care and intervention, which would include Clinical Skills and Non-medical Nurse Prescribing.
